Varshets – the town of health and mineral water!
Varshets – one of the oldest and most popular spa resorts in northern Bulgaria. It is located about 90 km north of Sofia and about 30 km south of Montana. It is located in a vast valley along the “Botunya” river and the northern forested slopes of the Balkan mountain. The geographical position also determines the climatic features of the resort. The climate here is mild and humid as well as gentle to the body. The average annual temperature is above 11 °C, summer is cool without prolonged heat, winter is mild and humid, autumn is mild and warm.
